Sure was a nice start to the morning.  We headed out across the fields.  Suki didn't like the horses and I can see why!!  because they are twenty times bigger than she is !!!   We managed to negotiate the fence and then walk along the river.  It was very quiet; almost ghost like; but Suki enjoyed diving through the bush and licking out of the river water.  Later, after a good breakfast; left over luncheon meat and two eggs, I went along to the Post Office.  The morning started off as usual with all the sorry types wanting 'their' money!!  Anyway, we paid out, and collected in just like all good Sub Postmasters do.  later we learned that John Grainger had emptied his mum's account!!  Well, who could expect anything else!!   Much later, I took Sandra for lunch at the High Corner.  Later, I joined Mike and Ross for a couple of pints in the Turb.  Then I decided I'd had enough, and I haeded for home.  Dinner was light; a small jacket potato and what was left of the duck.  I finished the day by writing this blog and then going to bed for a quiet read.
