Rainy start to the day, only managed a short walk. Met Rod and Graham. Rod is over the moon with the budget; his car tax is now only £35.00 per year. Did our weekly shop in Tescos, nothing much to report. Didn't need to buy beer this week thanks to the case of Kronenburg acquired from Graham. Post Office busy first thing. People arguing about the price of car tax, you'd swear it was my fault! Sandra and Lynda went to the warehouse to get amongst other things, Easter Chicks. Had a great idea for an essay re- egg timer. I will connect the idea of sand and time to a potted history of my early days. I need to re-read the book The Officer's Ward. I intend doing a critical review of this work for my Writing Media module. It's 6-30pm. and I'm waiting for a friend from the diving club to arrive with the club 4+4 jeep. I'm to park it up for until the end of the month, when we'll be using it again in West Wales. He hasn't turned up yet, which is a bit annoying because I promised to drive him back to Blackwood and I can't really start any work until I've done this task. Tomorrow morning I must attempt some 100 word articles for writing media. I haven't attempted any of these yet; the others in the class have so I must have a go.
