Lovely start to the day.  Met up with Rod and his two spaniels.  He's lost an awful lot of weight; looks ill to me , but says that he feels quite fit.  We walked up Cemetery road and back, and put the world to rights as usual.  Got to the Post Office half an hour early, just in case the machines had decided to come on, but, they hadn't so I had a frustrating morning turning ood customers away.  Came home after the Postman had collected.  Paul was waiting, and he took the Pajero to Martin's to collect the Cobra.  He returned about 3-30pm.  There's oil leaking out of the steering.  I'll have some explaining to do to my neighbours, but I cleaned it up as best as I could.  Loaded the car with dive gear; we'll have an early start in the morning 05-30am and hopefully, a quiet journey to Hasguard's Cross.  Took the dog for a long waljk in the afternoon sunshine.  It was very pleasant to be out in shorts and tee-shirt.  Listened to the football on the radio.  Not a good afternoon, Blackburn lost at home, as did Cardiff City.  Pork steak and salad with just one glass of rose wine for tea, then we watched reach for the sky (again).  Intend to have an early night tonight so as to be ready for the morning.
