First day of BST. The weather has been great; I was up early to walk the dog and after breakfast went back out with both dogs. We walked down along the river. The ground was soft but I managed to get down to the stile before deciding to turn back. Both dogs got muddy and needed a bath. I don't think Rosie's quite into this bathing lark. She jumped out just as I was spraying the dirt off her legs. I managed with a struggle. After she was dried off, she slept for a while and I enjoyed reading yesterday's paper. I was supposed to be getting on with an essay today but here I am at 8-00pm and I haven't even opened my case. Well, it's too late to start now so I'll probably make a start tomorrow evening. I intend getting most of my written work out of the way by next weekend so I'll have to go some. I didn't get back into the swing of things after the Xmas break. Next year I'll need to be more disciplined. The students on the modules have been more laid back this year as have the tutors. I need to become better at getting down to work.
In the Post Office we've managed to survive post Vicky going on maternity leave. Collin starts with us soon which should free me up to get on with some work. I'm looking forward to working with Collin and looking forward even more to getting back to a part-time routine. New area manager starts tomorrow; new brush sweeps clean - maybe or will he be a ten minute wonder boy. I've lost track of my role with the Post Office and treat it as a nine to five thirty job. I think they'll have to re-invent themselves yet again; forget all this financial services selling and become more themselves again.
It's 8-00pm and I've no intention of starting an essay so I'm going to sing off now and go watch some more telly.
