Mr.
Hi, I'm Phil, a Postmaster in South Wales. When I'm not working I enjoy walking, fishing and scuba diving.
Entry for January 20, 2008

Will it ever stop raining?  It was still heavy drizzle when I woke up this morning.  The dogs needed to go out though and I took them on the usual path - can't go into the fields because it's too wet.  Rosie's getting much better on a lead.  This morning I let her off and she played nicely with Suki.  We got quite wet but Sandra had towels ready when we came back.

I spent most of the morning revising for the English exam on Wednesday.  It all seems pretty straight forward but I'll bet it's more involved on the day.  Well, I'm taking no chances and I'll revise the necessary parrot fashion and write the tables down before I start just like I did last time.

I have a hospital appointment tomorrow.  It's just a follow up on the inspection I went through recently.  I'm not expecting any bad news but ...

This afternoon I took part in a fishing match with the boys from Whitehills.  We went to the knap- Barry.  The weather was dreadful with drifting rain, and there was a strong wind.  I lost two sets of gear and caught precisely nothing.  Martin won the day with a tidy size whiting.  I enjoyed  the experience and though I was wet through outside, my wet weather gear kept me dry inside.  There were lots of planes coming in to land at Rhoose.  It was interesting to see them coming in out of the murk and you realise what a difficult job those pilots have.
