The House

The Phi Sig House                   The Phi Sig House

The Phi Sigma Gamma House, located at 270 West Walnut Lane in Philadelphia, is a classically designed and built three story house.  Along with its vast yard and parking spaces, the house provides the best amenities possible for its members.  Each year three great parties, one banquet, and numerous other activites, ranging from Evening Reports to friendly social events, are held here.

The Great Room

The Great Room is the central room of the Phi Sig house and the heart of the fraternitiy's numerous events.  As such it serves as everything from a dance floor to the location of our Evening Reports and Annual Banquet.  For this reason, it has over the years had a broad range of additions to its original design.  Currently,  the Great Room contains a small  bar, a dance floor lighting system, a bank of X-Ray light boxes, and a dry erase board.

The Founder's Room

The Founder's Room consists of a big screen television, full access to digital cable, a VCR, a DVD Player, and a state of the art music system.  It is the perfect place to relax after a long day at school or to watch the big game.  This room also includes numerous trophies that Phi Sig has won over the years, and pictures of many of the founding brothers, such as this picture of Galen Young, DO.

The Bar Room

The Bar

The bar, dedicated to Dr. Robert Meals, consists of a wide variety of of alcoholic beverages, including the fraternity's very own kegerator.  During any one of the fraternity's parties, it is staffed by at least one bartender and is the home of Phi Sig's own blend of Jungle Juice.

The Pool Room

The Pool Room

The Pool Room, located directly above the Great Room on the second floor of the Phi Sig House, has a full size regulation pool table.  It is an ideal place to practice your game or have a friendly game between members of the fraternity.

A Typical Housemate's Room

The standard housemate's room at Phi Sig are each about the size of a small studio apartment, albeit much more afffordable to rent.  They provide ample space to study in quite solitude, while at the same time allowing one to be close to the action at Phi Sig.
