| Got a cuppa? Have a seat. Comfy? Hi. I'm Chris and I live in New South Wales, Australia. I originally came from Bangkok, Thailand I work for Carers ACT in Canberra at The Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre where I assist people who are in a caring role get short term or emergency assistance when they might not be able to look after the person they care for. I have generally worked in some form of human services for most of my working life. I have worked in out-of-school-hours childcare, residential support and well as family based disability support. I have co-ordinated community access and recreational activities for people with a disability and support to young carers. It is the kind of work I enjoy - working with people have always been challenging, interesting as well as very rewarding. |
| The one thing I really enjoy is photography. It is better described as an "obsession" rather than a hobby. I would take a photo of just about anything But I particularly love taking photos of people and capturing that "candid moment". |
| This website (my "cubby" house in cyberspace) is for sharing my photos and stories of people and places in my life and my travels. | Outside work hours, I watch TV a lot or chat online with my friends both in Australia and overseas. Wining and dining are also high on my agenda (A nice Thai meal and a bottle of chardonney is something that is very hard to beat!) I also love to travel and - whenever time and my wallet allow, I would either go for a drive and have a look at Australia or take a trip to Thailand. I am also looking at other over-seas destinations. |
