I.
Our philanthropy is unique because all of our proceeds go to CMN Richmond. It is nice that we are helping a local organization. This way, we can really see the difference we are making in a hands on and involved way.

We participate in at least one major philanthropy event in the fall and spring. In addition, we celebrate our National Philanthropy Day in October with another event. Phi Mu is the first Greek organization to recognize a national day for "hands-on" service. Sisters help with small projects, for example painting pumpkins and making "boo-boo bunnies" for the Children's Hospital in Richmond.
III.
In the fall, our primary philanthropy activity is our Spaghetti Dinner. We also takepart in a number of other philanthropy events throughout the semester.
IV.
In the spring, Phi Mu supports its biggest event of the year for CMN, Dance Marathon. Dance Marathon is a campus wide event, involving all Greek Life as well as many other organizations. Each year, Phi Mu consistently raises the most money for CMN Richmond. Last year alone we raised over $6000. Sisters also take part in the Special Olympics, girl scout sales, clothing drives, volunteering at the YMCA, & R-MC campus clean-up.
