Here I will post my recent in person stories. If you have a story you would like to share, please email me with it and I will post it for everyone to see. Every month there will be a new one. If no one sends me a story I will post my own if a have one.
For the first story I will go back to March Break. For March Break My cousin and I went to My grandparents home in Florida. We had planned to go to a Spring Training game between the Mets and the Cardinals in Port St. Lucie. So we went to the stadium. It was a 3 hour drive. We got there at 11:00am.We got our seats and then went searching for autographs. We only got one autograph before the game, Todd Ziele, from the Mets. I got a card signed. So we watched the game. Then afterwards, we waited after the game for autographs. First, I got Vance Wilson signed on a baseball. Then, I got someone from the coaching staff on a Mets hat. Finally, after 4!!!! hours of waiting, Garth Brooks came out of the field. The last autograph of the day was from Garth Brooks. I got his autograph on a baseball, signed "Phil- God Bless Garth Brooks". It was awesome! I actually got to talk to him. It was 8:00pm and we got back at 11:00pm. It was a long day but it was worth it.
This is another one. Not sure when, but a while ago I went to a Harlem Globetratters game. I bought a program, in hope to get it signed by a few players. I loved the game and it was lots of fun.At the end of the game, they had a 15 minute autograph signing. So I went down to the court and got into one of the so called lines. Which is actually a big mob of people. I got 2 players autographs and one of the people who did flips all the way across the court at halftime. It was a great night out and it was well worth it.
