Phil does have a great comedic timing but I don't think that this is the right vehicle to show it off as it to me the show is just too silly for words.
The set is two dimensional and much of the acting over the top or wooden.
But onto Phil himself, he plays five characters including dressing in drag to play Mrs Bottomley but all the characters are very flat and Phil doesn't bring anything to any of them.
There are glimmers of light but on the whole a very disappointing performance.
Here's hoping that Curses! is better.
