He really does put everything into the part and looks like he is having a whale of a whale of a time throughout the show.
The show itself is odd as it wasn�t what I expected as I thought that there would be more of a story but its more like a concert than a proper show.
Dressed in jeans, white t-shirt and overalls over the jeans but tied around the waist Phil does look really good and I think he looks really sexy. A leather jacket is worn when he first comes on stage and the overalls are put on on stage.
This really is a show where Phil can shine and he plays so many instruments, the guitar (both acoustic and electric), lap steel, bass, keyboards, harmonica and accordion, some of these instruments I hadn�t see Phil play before like accordion and harmonica.
It was great to see Phil back with so many of the people he has worked with before such as Loveday Smith, Wendy Parkin and James Earl Adair. Phil particularly works well with Wendy and it was fantastic when they were both playing the guitar and the looks they gave each other whilst doing so. The other person Phil had a great rapport with was newcomer James Eaton, they worked really well together and they really sparked well and there were some fantastic moments of interaction.
This really is a show that I enjoyed and I�m so glad that I got to see Phil in it as I think that it is one of the best things that I have seen him in.
Phil, just totally brilliant.
