Attended the last 2 performance of Pump Boys and Dinettes and I thought that the show was as good as ever.

The matinee audience was a bit disappointing as the theatre wasn't that full and the audience didn't really get behind the cast.

The evening audience was better, and whilst not the best I had seen did get behind the cast.

A wonderful adlib from Phil when James Eaton as Jim asked who cooked Catfish the best, Phil said Keith Floyd and had the cast smirking, some of the audience I heard laugh as well, so they must have seen it before and knew that it wasn't meant to be said.

James Eaton also spilled beer down his leg during the fisherman's prayer and that had Phil laughing.

The slick line Phil had used once when Loveday and Wendy change guitars for him was used again as peole had giggled and Phil got responses when he mentioned both the International House of Pancake and Woolworth's, he said that we had them here too.

A pity that this great show had to come to an end as I really did enjoy it and I think that Phil did as well as he looked a bit upset when it all came to an end.

Thanks Phil for a wonderful 3 weeks.  Look forward to The Comedy of Errors now.
