Cookie is the spaceship's cook and is discribed as a hopeless romantic. He isn't the brightest crew member on the spaceship and because of this he gets treated badly.
Cookie thinks he has found true love when the spaceship lands on an unknown planet and he sees Miranda but Miranda does feel the same way about him as she is in love with Captain Tempest, the captain of the Spaceship although the Captain rejects her love. She rejects him and he tries to win her love by stealing the X factor that Miranda's father created. This doesn't help him and Captain Tempest tells Miranda that he loves her leaving Cookie all alone.
