The Philippine Peace Center
is a non-stock, non-profit institution committed to the
attainment of genuine peace based on justice. The PPC provides
specialized technical and staff services to the peace negotiation
between the NDFP and the GRP, facilitating communications between the
two parties, undertaking studies and research and helping seek and
create ways to overcome difficulties and impasses. The PPC likewise
supports the people’s just struggle for the solution of their basic
problems, believing that herein lies the key to the attainment of a
lasting, because genuine, peace.
The PPC likewise supports
the Moro people's struggle for self-determination and quest for
genuine peace, believing that genuine peace in Mindanao cannot be
achieved without upholding and promoting the Moro people's right to
self-determination.
The PPC publishes policy
papers by individuals and organizations on the question of peace and
the peace process, information bulletins and updates on the progress
of the negotiations., with the aim of furthering the dissemination and
exchange of ideas and opinions on these.
