Lesson 2: Data and Measurement

Lesson 2 consists of two topics (on two pages): "2-1 Defining Data", and "2-2 Gathering Data".  Make sure you do both topics.

Please complete all activities, including the exercises.  The quiz will test you over your understanding as measured by the exercises.

Notice that 2-2 introduces a new kind of activity: an Interactive Tool Activity, which is represented by an icon with a hand:   There is also a Data Desk activity and an exercise.

Note: You don't need to copy the problem onto your paper. Just answer the questions.
2.1: Answer all questions, labelling your answers with the (a)-(d) designations as given.  Note that (c) has two questions to answer.  Answer them both. 2.2: You are asked to do two things.
2.3: (a)-(f) 2.4: There are 4 questions.  Label the answers (1)-(4).
