Dad

   Thank you !!   Thank you for being my father and showing me what a good man should be. Thanks for the

funny faces and the laughs. Thank you and mom for being there for my college graduation to reiterate the

support that you have shown me through those years. I am glad that I made you proud on that day. I also

remember the things that you and mom have done for other people over the years. The time that you allowed

Mark to practically live with us, as well as a few others, was a real testament of the love you guys have for others.

I really enjoyed having Mark with us and I sincerely felt like he was a part of our family. Although we haven't been

able to spend a whole lot of time with the Florida Chambers, the times we've shared have always been

memorable: like the day we got together to spread grandpa's ashes. It was a hard day full of tears but also full

of joy. We all had the chance to say what he meant to us and as we reflected on the man who touched all of our

lives, we grew closer together. I was also pleased that we finally got the chance to place his remians in the water

where he spent so much time and that gave him so much joy.

      Our family vacations have also been wonderful times in my life. Sure they weren't always perfect, but no one

expected them to be. We may have fought a bit but we never let that stop us from laughing or joking around;

something that us Chambers' do so well (he, he). Our most recent trip to Washington, DC. was one of my

favorites. We got the chance to see some of national treasures, monuments and buildings that make this

country so great.   The special tour of the capitol was awesome and the White House was amazing as well. I

was most glad though, to be able to spend that time with my family. I love you guys!

        I am sure that the years to come will also have these kinds of special moments described above because a

good-natured man and father does these things. That is what you are. A special part of my life. I love you

deeply and hope that we will grow together more and more. Thank you for all you have done for me. Thank you

for the woman that you love and married. Also, thank you (and mom too of course) for my wonderful brother. We

are your crazy sons and I am glad that I have had the pleasure in my life to have such a fun and loving brother to

share great parents with.

    So, Happy Birthday Dad !!!!!!     Many more to come!!!!

PS: Don't worry 53 ain't so bad. You are still plenty young at heart.
