Perhaps the most crucial part of conquer is your equipment. Please resist the temptation to share your items, it only takes one error of judgement and you will lose your hard earned stuff.
Apollonious is wearing Level 80 boots which is the highest he can wear at his current level of 84. Boots rise in levels of 10. Once Level 90 is reach the boots can be upgraded using meteors (mets) either in twin city or Market.
Dura is very important, and any item you have should be repaired before dura reaches zero, for it will disappear never to be seen again. Repairs cost money and the price is dependant on quality of the items.
Composing items is a valuable asset to add. In the screenshot (left) you will notice a '+4'. This corresponds to the addition of +boots which can be bought and found as you play conquer. When you compose you add extra stats points, and when you compose boots, the stat which is raised is dodge (purple). Composing can be done to any equipment and composing on clubs for example, adds damage and accuracy.
Quality
There are five levels of items quality, they are:
1. Normal
2. Refined
3. Unique
4. Elite
5. Super
Normal is the lowest quality and can be easily found around conquer. Refined is next and is also commonly found. Unique is next and although not as commonly found as normal and refined, can be sometimes found or bought relatively cheaply in market. Elite is a good quality item but is rare to find. Similarly, Super is the best quality and is a very rare find. All quality of items can be found or purchased in market.
Market
The Market can be used to buy and sell items, but be aware some people will try to scam you, if unsure ask a guild member for advice on prices or trades.
Items can be upgrade in level by using meteors which are commenly found or purchased. The level will rise to the next available, e.g for Boots L30 > Boots L40.
The quality of items can also be raised using Dragonballs (DBs). e.g Unique Boots L30 > Elite Boots L30. These are much rarer to find but common to buy in market.
Sockets are commonly found in weapons but are much rarer in non-weapon items. Sockets are gained extremely rarely when using artisan wind in twin city when upgrading items, or in some moonboxes. Its all luck, and if you have a socket it can be filled with a Gem.
Levels are gained by earning experience points. These can be gained either by killing monsters or by joining a team and gaining experience (exp) as a team. Usually high level players will take on low level players which help for fast leveling. You will notice a player has created a team by a gold star above the head. Ask nicely and you may be allowed to join.
Gems are placed in items with sockets, They are used to enhance stats. They come as normal, refined and super.
