Schenectady, New York is home to both the group's guitarist and the group's drummer. The drummer and guitarist have been friends for some time now while the bassist met the drummer in there first-year Ancient Philosophy class where they both discovered that the other had a mutual interest in punk and hardcore and that they were both philosophy majors. Thus, after a year the three out of a need to play music and circumstance formed the group.
