The PCCC was formed in 1987 when the Philadelphia Irish community rallied to acquire Monty O'Leary services to build our original currachs. Monty, an old world craftsman and distinguished currach builder, was flown in from the Old Country (Ireland) to perform this service.
Currach rowing is a great way to stay in shape and compete against athletes of all ages in a sport that won't blow your knees.
