| Cattleya intermedia 'alba' |
|
| Cattleya iricolor from Ecuador is rare, both in cultivation
and in the wild. Its petals and sepals are long and narrow and open rather
rolled back at the margins so as to appear even narrower. They are a golden
colour except for the lip which is cream on the outside and bright gold
with red markings inside. |

| Cattleya maxima seems to have rather weak stems which
need staking but its intricate pattern of deep pink veins along the lip
makes a very attractive flower. |
