It has long been my opinion that if it isn't broken, then somebody probably has not tried to break the rules surrounding it. It is a great deal of fun to take existing game rules and alter them to make the game more interesting. Game designers have made this a significant market in recent years. Take for instance "Scrabble", the classic game of word construction. We also now have "Upwords", a very similar game during which you can stack the letters on top of one another to make new words. Herein I have collected a few of my own modifications which vary from slight changes, to new ways to play old games. There will also be games borrowed from strange places. |
