12-26 SUPERCROSS
--MY QUAD IS WAY TO BIG AND HEAVY FOR THIS RACE. MY GOAL WAS TO FINISH IN ONE PIECE. I DID THAT AND FINISHED SECOND FOR THE DAY. I STALLED ON BOTH STARTS. I HAVE NOT HAD A GOOD START SINCE I GOT MY QUAD BACK.
12-27 GRAND PRIX--THIS IS WERE I USUALLY DO GOOD. I STARTED OUT GREAT I WAS RIGHT BEHIND ED FRANCO YOU IS AN INTERMIDIATE RIDER. I STAYED IN THAT POSITION FOR THE FIRST TWO OR SO LAPS. THEN...I STARTED TO TIRE ALREADY. I AM SO OUT OF SHAPE SINCE I DID NOT HAVE MY QUAD FOR 3 MONTHS. I JUST HELD ON FOR 3RD PLACE. FOR THE LAST THREE LAPS I COULD NOT US MY THUMB SO I WAS PUSHING THE THROTTLE WITH MY PALM.
12-28 MOTOCROSS-- I HAD TO BEAT JUSTIN IN BOTH MOTOS TO ASSURE THAT I WOULD BE THE OVERALL CHAMP. MOTO 1 START OUT OK AND I PASSED JUSTIN GOING UP THE HILL ON LAP 1 BUT THERE WAS A BIG MUD PUDDLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL. I GOT PUSHED IN TO IT. WELL IT WAS DEEP AND THE TIRES JUST SPUN. I LEFT THE PUDDLE IN SECOND TO LAST. I TRIED FOR TWO LAPS TO CATCH JUSTIN BUT I WAS RIDING BAD. I FELL OFF ONCE BESIDES TAKING EVER WRONG LINE THAT I COULD. I FINALLY GAVE UP AND WENT REALLY SLOW THE REST OF THE MOTO TO CONSERVE MY ENERGY. MOTO TWO COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE DIFFERENT THAN MOTO 1. I STARTED OUT PERFECT RIGHT BEHIND THE EXPERT AND HIS BROTHER. AFTER ABOUT 2 LAPS I WAS SO FAR AHEAD OF JUSTIN THAT I DECIDED TO TAKE IT EASY AND MAKE SURE I DID NOT CRASH. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONLY WAY HE WOULD HAVE BEAT ME. JON DID PASS ME WITH A LAP TO GO BUT I STILL ENDED UP NOV. OVERALL CHAMP
I HAVE NOT KEEPED UP WITH THIS LATELY...
ITP QUAD CROSS--I AM HAVING TROUBLE PASSING THE TWO BANCHI GUYS.. I BELIEVE I AM FASTER BUT I NEED TO BE MORE AGRESSIVE IN ORDER TO PASS THEM ON THAT NARROW TRACK.
DESERT--SO FAR SO GOOD. I HAVE WON MY DIVISION AND  THIRD OVERALL IN BOTH RACES I HAVE RACED.. THE DOWN SIDE IS THAT I AM BEATING UP MY QUAD. I NEED TO STAY FOCUSED. I GET AHEAD OF SECOND AND BEHIND THE EXPERTS AND CAN'T SEE EITHER. THE LAST RACE I SLOWED DOWN AND NEXT THING I KNOW I HAVE AN EXPERT CATCH ME WHICH I THOUGHT WAS IN FRONT. 
GRAND PRIX---FIRST BIG 6 I HAD A BAD RACE AND STILL END UP 4TH IN NOV. I WAS IN THE TOP 6 OR SO AFTER LEAVING THE MX PART AT THE START BUT I END UP COMING OFF MY QUAD AND RAPPED UP IN A BANNER. THEN LATER OF THE FIRST LAP I HIT SOMEBODY AND  MY TRANSPONDER CAME OFF SO I COULD NOT GET GOING UNTIL I FOUND IT. THEN THEY STOPPED ME AT THE FINSH LINE ON THE FIRST LAP AND TOLD ME TO FIX IT. FINALY NOBODY WOULD HELP ME SO I TOOK OFF.
2-23 ADELANTO GRAND PRIX---SAT. MORNING I WOKE UP WITH A SORE THROAT AND SWOLLEN TONSIL. FROM THERE IT JUST GOT WORST. I COULD NOT EVEN SWALLOW FOOD ON SUNDAY MORNING. THE ONLY REASON I RACED ON SUN. WAS BECAUSE I PRE ENTERED. I TOOK 4 TYLONAL FLU PILLS ABOUT A HOUR OR SO BEFORE THE RACE HOPING THAT IT AND THE ADRENLINE WOULD HELP ME THROUGH. I GOT ONE OF MY BEST STARTS EVER. I AM IN THIRD GEAR AND ON THE GAS APPROACHING THE CORNER AND THEN I REMEBER. OH $HIT I DON'T HAVE BACK BRAKES. SO I HADTO LET OFF EARLY TO MAKE SURE I MAKE THE CORNER. SO I WAS SECOND FOR  THE FIRST HALF A LAP OR SO THEN I MY ARMS STARTED TO TIRE ALREADY. SO I FIGURED SINCE THIS IS NOT A POINTS RACE TO SLOW DOWN A LITTLE AND LET PEOPLE BY. THEN I WOULD FEEL GOOD AGAIN AND PASS PEOPLE BACK. THEN I WOULD FEEL TIRED AND SLOW DOWN. I SAW THREE PEOPLE CRASH. A PREDITOR, RAPTOR AND SUZUKI. THEY DID NOT SEEM TO GET HURT JUST THROWN OFF. I FELT I DID GOOD CONSIDERING HOW SICK I WAS. 7TH IN AMATUER AND 59TH OVERALL. LOOKING AT THE LAP TIMES THOUGH I WONDER HOW I COULD HAVE FASTER TIMES FOR LAP 3&4 THEN 1&2. IT MAKE ME WONDER WHAT IF I WASN'T SICK BUT THEN AGAIN I COULD HAVE BECOME ONE OF THE MANY THAT RODE FAST THAN THEY SHOULD AND CRASHED. THERE WERE QUADS ON THE SIDE OF THE COURSE ALL OVER THE PLACE. BY LOOKING AT MY TIMES I COULD HAVE RODE EXPERT AND PLACED 25TH OR SO.. MAYBE NEXT YEAR :0)
3-1-03 GLEN HELEN BIG 6 GP--I HATE MY GP STARTS.. I ACTUALLY WAS IN THE TOP 5 OR SO BUT A MOTO SLIDE IN FRONT OF ME IN THE FIRST CORNER AND STALLED SO I HIT HIM..I WAS THE LAST PERSON INTO THE SECOND CORNER. MY GOAL BEFORE THE START WAS TO CATCH GREG IN THE INTERMEDIATE CLASS. BUT GOING INTO THE SECOND CORNER I DECIDED TO JUST PASS ONE PERSON AT A TIME.  ALISON WAS MY FIRST VICTOM.  I PASSED 5 OR SO PEOPLE BEFORE WE GOT OFF THE REM TRACK. I ALMOST HIT PATTY GOING DOWN THE DIRT ROAD TOWARDS THE PARK. I WENT LEFT TO PASS HER AND SHE MOVED LEFT TO LET ME BY. AT THE TOP OF FOURTH THAT WAS ALMOST AN END TO OUR DAY. I WAS YELLING LIKE A MAD MAN ON THE RIDGE UNTIL 2 QUADS LET ME OVER. I REALLY WORE MYSELF OUT TRYING TO CATCH EVERBODY. I NEVER CALMED MYSELF DOWN OR TOOK A DRINK UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF LAP 3 AND THEN IT WAS TO LATE. I WAS SO TIRED. I HAVE NOT BEEN THAT TIRED DURING A RACE FOR I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG. I PASSED MY WAY INTO SECOND ON THE LAST LAP ON THE MOTOCROSS SECTION BUT I COULD NOT HOLD TO THE BARS SO I WAS PASSED BACK LATER. I NEED A STEERING STABALIZER. WELL THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT TIME.
