Hull Repair
Our 2nd Hover Rally in October was held at Lake Burrumbeet (Ballarat), the water level was higher than last time we went there but was still very low , with quite a few concrete mooring blocks, posts, stumps and various other obstacles sticking up out of the shallow water amongst the weeds Unfortunately when i lent my hover to a family member my hover was flown over a broken off post, which was  right on the waters edge this would of been no problem other than they must of been slowing down at the time which reduced the lift half way over the unseen post.
This is the damage once the area was sanded to reveal the real damage. also The scrap of ply with a layer of cling wrap over it, this will be placed under the hole so i can start the repair.
The rear of the craft raised on a mechanical jack this allowed the undeside of the hover to dry out as well as allowing me to slip the plastic coated ply sitting a top a piece of polystyrene under the offending hole.
The hover lowered down on top of the ply and foam.
Ply nicely held in position ready for a mixture of West System Epoxy and West system Gap filler.
