| The castle would have come up to the point where this photo was taken & spanned out beyond the harbour entrance to the rocks below the harbour wall.The pioneering conservationist John Muir is said to have played (climbed) on the castle as a young boy, it is considered too dangerous to venture onto the castle now. | |||||||
