Leading the light-weights!  As the day wore on, and I was able to practise what the instructor had taught me, we started to surprise a few people (not least me!)  The balance of the Porsche 944, which has it's gearbox at the back to give 50:50 weight distribution, was brilliant.  When it did pass the limits of it's grip it just drifted all four wheels and let you control the slide by flexing the accelerator, cool!  This is Mansfield Bend (pic)  taken in second gear at about 45mph.  We had a few "tail out" moments here when I tried entering at close to 60mph.  A flick of the wheel held the slide 'Top Gear' style for a second, before the tail snapped back in place.    Spare boxer shorts were on standby.
