In late 1997 I met an Australian, Dave Riddell. He gave up his Australian life and showed up the day of my graduation. We were married a few months later.
Dave and I had our daughter in 2001, Ashley Brooke. Soon after, the events of 11 Sept, 2001 brought about the decision to move to Australia. On 22 DEC 2001 we migrated to Queensland, Australia with Ashley, while sadly, we accepted David Alan's choice of staying with his father in Ohio. In Oct 2002 we had a son, Braeden Thomas.
Dave builds robots for DNA research labs. If it's electronic or hydraulic he's got it covered. I currently do not work anywhere full time, but my hobbies include genealogy, reading, raising gorgeous children, and some computer gaming. I spend most of my time with my children, then genealogy, then dessert tasting. Oh, I failed to mention that before, sorry. If I had to choose what I missed most from the US, besides my family of course, it would be pumpkin pie, thanksgiving, frosty christmases, crunchy cheetos, 24 hr shopping, drive thru banking, and proper MEXICAN FOOD!
