Help required

There are many gaps in what is known about the Railways of the Philippines but with your help some of these can be filled.

Requests for information will be included on this page and any bits of historical information you come across would be most welcome.

3 foot gauge Porter 0-4-0ST locomotives at Central Azucarera de La Carlota were identified by numbers stamped on numerous parts as 4012, 4015 and 3858 (not 3558 as attributed to a 'British Railfan' in the Small and Lanham book - see the book reviews page). 

I believe the Porter builders list shows these locomotives to be of the correct type but delivered to US steelworks could they have been imported second hand ?
