Railway Preservation

in the Philippines.

The Philippine National Railway retained three Manila Railway steam locomotives which are on display in Manila. The contents of the railway museum which was formerly in the entrance to Tutuban station is now at Caloocan.

Former Pasudeco No.2, a Baldwin 2-6-0, is on display outside the Riverbanks Mall, Marikina, Manila.

Central Azucarera de Tarlac retained Henschel 2-6-0 No. 1 and painted it black but it is without its tender.

A Fordson Locomobile was displayed at the Paniqui Sugar Mills, Paniqui, Tarlac, Luzon in 1979.

Former Central Azucarera de La Carlota No.6, a Davenport 0-4-0T, was displayed at Tagaytay overlooking Lake Ta-al, Luzon.

Central Azucarera Don Pedro displayed Henschel 0-8-0T No.1 and 0-6-0WT No.8.

Bacolod Murcia Milling Company Vulcan 0-6-0T No.7 can be seen in Bacolod.

At San Carlos Milling Company Inc. repainted Baldwin 0-6-0ST No.1 can be seen.

At Lopez Sugar Central both Three Truck Shays can be seen at the Mill.  No. 10 was last noted repainted green and No. 9 in red oxide.

Insular Lumber Company No.7, a Baldwin 0-6-6-0 Mallet, is now displayed in Sagay City, Negros Occidental

Victorias Milling Company 13-B, a Baldwin 0-8-0, has been displayed outside the mill for over 25 years.

This Baldwin 0-6-0ST was installed on a traffic island at the entrance to a new sub-division north of

 Bacolod City, Negros Occidental in 1996. Origin not confirmed but possibly from Central Azucarera de Bais.

The Fowler 0-6-0T No.3 at Bogo-Medellin Milling Company which was black when working was painted yellow and displayed at the mill.
