Mining Railways of the Philippines

Railways serving mining companies from coal to gold were mainly on Luzon, Samar, Cebu, Negros and Mindanao and will be listed.

Small Gold Mines operated railways in the 1920's but many more were developed from around 1937 when a large number of companies were registered.

Very little is known about many of the companies but the following are known to have operated railways and more information will be added as time permits.
