| 23 Years - 28 Years Richard stuck around in Europe for another year doing God knows what while I returned to Canada to attend graduate school in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Victoria. I worked on my MSc. degree and produced a thesis titled "The Globular Cluster System of the Edge-On Sb Galaxy NGC 5170". under the supervision of James Hesser. Upon completion of this degree, the aforementioned Richard Peters and I embarked on a two month road trip that encompassed BC, The Yukon, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and ending in Toronto. Many cites were seen, people were met and beer was consumed. Upon return I reentered McMaster University in order to obtain my PhD Titled "Dynamics of LMC Clusters", which I completed near the end of 1992. A significant event occured during this period of my life, I met my future wife Angela Punnett. This is an interesting story. Next Back to Biography Index Back to Philippe's Home |
