This photograph really doesn't do the makeover justice, but Geraldine in Snips (Abbey Street, Dublin) did wonders in an hour, giving me tips on how best to apply foundation, blusher, mascara and lipstick. Ok, the basics I knew, but the techniques she used gave me lots of ideas. The cost? �30 for the hour with the promise of further tips on eye-shadow in the future.
