I got this wonderful dress from Pauline in Intimate Lingerie on Tara Street. I had phoned her the day before about something else and she mentioned she had some new dresses in. At �30 I feel it's a bargain and I have had plenty of nice comments (and a few very suggestive ones!) from those that have seen it. I also bought a pair of control tights from her - the dress is too short for stockings! The belt is a bargain from Miss Selfridge's in Clery's - �5, it's a single gold strand.
In the centre photo I'm wearing my latest acquisition, a jacket from an exclusive boutique called the Gorta Shop (I think!) on George's Street. It's a lovely piece which I felt guilty paying only �5 for (the lady wanted �4.50!) For foreign readers Gorta is 'hunger in Irish and it's a charity shop. |
