Jas Holsta
Jas Holsta is a simple farmer from western Jordia. In hopes of finding a better land to support his family (wife, daughter, and two sons), Jas packed everything the family owned into a covered wagon and began to head further west. He was aware that they'd have to travel through the arrid area known as Outland, but did not know of the danger that lurked there.
Raiders attacked his wagon, killing his dogs and horses and kidnapping his wife and children. Jas was left to mourn until Lance Hale and Clys Gyseron showed up and took him to Center, a poverty-stricken town in Outland.
There, Jas helped to lead a small revolution (with Clys' help) and found the independent Confederation of Outland People.
Note: The similarities between this picture of Jas and a digital photo I found on a floppy at my job are quite apparent. This is only because this guy just looks how I envision Jas looking. I don't know who the person in the photo is.
