Day Three - On to Jackson's Hole Wyoming
Day three see's us riding into Jackson Wyoming, another good ride today, around 453 miles in total. The plan is to hold up for two nights, one to see what the valley has to offer and secondly to rest up. Jackson's Hole is a valley that runs through the Grand Teton Mountains, which is immediately south of Yellowstone National park.
The day started out well, we got on the road by 6:30am from Fort Collins. Was pretty cold and had to stop to get Chloe another jacket to put on. Once that was done she was in good shape.
Not to far into the day we come across these wind generators, there were about 50 of them. Also along the road there were signs saying something about stong winds in these parts?????
As we got about 60 miles outside Jackon, there were storms brewing, we managed to get by this one, but a little later we hit a thunder storm, we got into our rain gear before it come down, didn't last to long and we managed to stay dry.
What you see here is the entrance into Jackson Hole. The "hole" in the old days is what they called a valley. This is what we came in search of.
We are now going into the valley
This the the hotel we are staying in, right on the main street.
Chloe was giving me trouble so i pushed her in with a bear. You just can't please some people.
They even put on a shoot out performance for us, the hospitality here is excellent.
