Back to Day 10.. 3..
Down town Sturgis, in fact most of the towns in the area during the rally block off some portion of the main street for bikes only parking. In many cases they also allow bikes to park in the middle of the street as pictured below.
There was a heavy police presence through out the entire Black Hills, particularly in Sturgis, making sure everyone behaves. From what i saw there was very little trouble, but then with Chloe with me i did not venture to places where trouble was likely, or out late at night.
This is the One-Eyed Jacks Saloon, it is a megaplex as far as bars go, absolutely huge it covers one entire block.
This is where Chloe had what she called the "Best Hamberger ever". As you can see people will hang out on the balconys drink eat and watch the crowds go by. In a place like this there is lots to see.
Well, its 5:00pm and the bike is all packed, parked on main street Sturgis and ready to go.
Here is the view as we left Rapid City, the storms were brewing but fortunately they went around us. We rode tonight until 10:30pm local Sturgis time, 9:30pm central time once we crossed the time zone. We stopped in Valentine Nebraska for the night.

Our plan was to try to get home the next night, we new it would be a long ride, in total it would take 14 hrs riding non stop, so add in fuel and food stops, that would be about 17 hrs or 875 miles (1400 kms).. not real sure.
