Day Ten - The Black Hills
Today we wanted to visit a few other key places / roads not yet ventured on, as we decided that late this afternoon we are going to start heading back home. Yes a few days early, but i have done and seen what i wanted to. Getting home a little early will work great for Chloe and considering we have not seen Lena and Jasmine for neally four weeks will be a good surprise for them..
One road not ventured was through Spearfish Canyon, first thing in the morning it was nice and cool. We stopped at a small river for some pictures. This was our only brush with the law, they stopped to see why one bike was alone on the road above, they stopped to check out what was going on.
To continue on the road we had to head into Wyoming then back into South Dakota
We then rode the "Wildlife loop" in Custer State Park, unfortunately very little wild life. By now the roads were packed with bikes, riding was getting slower and slower. A good time to get out.
We then headed back to the town of Custer and had lunch, once again, nothing but bikes, vendors and scantly clad woman...
Here is where we camped for the four nights, now it is time to pack it up. We shipped most of the camping gear via UPS, so had to arrange it to be sent back home. We left the campground around 3:30pm and wanted to stop down town Sturgis for one last time before heading out.
