Annual General Meeting 2002

The majority of the officers of the club retained their positions unopposed. Please see the Club Officials page. Darren Langton, Show Secretary, relinquished his position due to work and personal commitments.

Vice-Presidents

Three vice-presidents were proposed for their contributions to the club.

John Horspool

Proposed by Alan Ramsden, seconded by Ian Stewart.

Alan thanked John for his support of the LB&FBS activities and in particular pointed out how John has been a strong ambassador for the LB&FBS through his outstanding show success in 2001, (including BIS at Northant's and 2nd and 5th best A/A Novice at Doncaster), and his participation in many neighbouring clubs open shows during the summer.

Darren Langton

Proposed by Alan Ramsden, seconded by Ben Groocock.

Alan thanked Darren for handling the most important job of Show Secretary through both good and difficult times.

Pauline Groocock

Proposed by John Bell, seconded by Darren Langton.

John thanked Pauline for her help in so many of the clubs activities and her special efforts of looking after the door and catalogue sales at the Open Shows.

Life Member

Ben Groocock

Proposed by Tom Agar, seconded by Sue Stewart.

For his continued long support and involvement with the clubs activities in periods of good and poor health.

Show Secretary

Phil Hodgkins was proposed by Darren Langton and seconded by Tom Agar.
