Phil Graingers DCC Resource Page

In a continued attempt to increase the acceptance of Digital Command and Control (or DCC) as an alternative method of controlling model railways (or railroads for our American cousins!), I have started to pull together what information I have and I will post it on this web site.

I don't claim to be an HTML wizard or Java programming expert, so don't expect to see any fancy graphics or other webby "stuff". It'll be just down to earth DCC information, presented simply (and I hope accurately).

As I am based in the UK, it will be biased towards the way things are here, but I won't restrict myself to just thinking about UK issues. After all, some of the best DCC information comes from the US.

Anyway, enough rambling from me, so let's head for the links!

The first spreadsheet of information I have to offer, is a summary of the DCC distributors in the UK. I will try and keep this information up to date.

Secondly, is my pride and joy! A spreadsheet of all decoders that I have found together with some basic information about the size and capabilities. I am in the process of updating the Decoder Reference Chart to include hot-links to the manufacturers web site (where there is one) and even hot-links to specific decoder pages. So, you should only be one click away from all the information you need for decoder selection.

Finally, a link to my favourite DCC dealer. Tonys Train Exchange in the US. They carry almost everything you would ever need AND they ship to the UK extremely promptly. If you call Tony, tell him I sent you!

Anyway, enjoy what there is here. If you have any comments or suggestions, eMail me - I'd love to hear from you.
