This page provides downloads of judges' reports as well as soft copies of executive summaries and business plans that were entered for the 2005 UH Business Plan Competition. Permission from authors of all the documents placed on this page have been received, except for the judges' reports where identity of judges were not revealed. Judges' report were given free to participants of the business plan competition, without stipulation of who owns them and how it should not be used. The webmaster of this download page believes that the disemination of judges' report information will enhance compliance to requirements of participation in future competitions and is thus beneficial to all parties. It must be understood however that there are many judges deployed for judging the business plan competition every year and the following samples may only be a small representation. Judges for each year varies as well. The criteria for judging however remains the same every year unless notified otherwise at the PACE official website. This webpage does not hold authority on the rules and regulations of the UH Business Plan Competition as the webmaster does not work for PACE.
The following are free examples featuring 3 judge's report on a business plan that was entered into the Semi-Final Stage of the 2005 UH Business Plan Competition. The team name was the Sausage Factory, a business plan that promoted a restaurant concept that served women similar to a restaurant concept of 'Steps of Rome' or the direct opposite of 'Hooters'. 1. Contents of other soft copy to be delivered
Each download package of each business plan contains 3 judge's report and a soft copy document comprising either an executive summary or business plan as specified as the download title. The judge's report comes in the form of a scanned image of the judge's report. The image file is larger than that previewed on yahoo photos shown in the example and can be read clearly. The soft copy document of either an executive summary or business plan is in Microsoft Word format.
2. Why you should pay for a copy to be delivered to you
There has been numerous request from participants to obtain the judges' reports and soft copies of both the executive summary and business plan. The above service is to meet this demand while charging a resonable fee for the administration and delivery process. If you have benefited from the use of the sample example of Sausage factory shown in yahoo photos, the author will appreciate your payment if you desire to view the other documents of other business plans. You will be satisfied with the download package received if you had been using the material on this website and have learnt from it. The cost associated with the production of the business plans and publishing of this work on the Internet was solely on the author's own expense. Hence, the payment received will be an encouragement to the author and webmaster.

and Delivery Process When payment is received, the author will be informed and a package consisting scanned files and MS Word copy will be emailed to the recipient. Do email the author at [email protected] if you have problems with the payment process. Delivery to your email address will take 2-3 days or sooner. The payment page will appear by clicking on the button 'Visa/MasterCard Buy Now' below. Payment will not be deducted until all fields are entered and a payment confirmation is shown on the payment screen. By just clicking the button will not cause any impact on your paypal account or credit card account. Even if you have entered your credit card information on the first payment screen, there will be a second screen to request your confirmation. Only when that is done, the transaction will be notified to me. A secure method to transact on the Internet will be to use a Paypal account. When you do that, your credit card information need not be entered on every website that you transact on. Paypal will encrypt your credit card/debit card information securely. The first page you will see after clicking on the 'VISA MASTERCARD BUY NOW' button is entitled Check out. On the left section has a 'Secure Checkout' button. This is for customers who would like to use their Visa or Mastercard credit card. Click on the button and you will be brought to a Billing information screen where you enter your Card type and credit card number. 4 card types are allowed. They are Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Enter the correct expiration date instead of using the default date on the screen. Fill the First name and last name as appearing on your credit card and not your full name if it is different from the card. Fill all the necessary fields and remember to enter your email address in all the requsted fields. If you have a Paypal account, then you only need to enter your login account name and paypal password and click the button login. If you have previously verified your bank account, you need not fill anything except your email address. Do provide an email address that has approximately 500KB space for me to send the soft copy to you. Then, just click pay. If you have not previously verified your bank/credit card account, you would have to enter your credit card number and verification number that is the 3 or 4 numbers at the back of your credit card. So far, customers who have encountered problems paying through their credit card, usually are able to do so, when they open a Paypal account. Remember that registration to Paypal is free and you will not be charged any fee when you are paying to me. You get to use a credit card or checking or debit account linked to Paypal to pay me. 1. What are the cards accepted for payment?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If you open a Paypal account by clicking on the link that was provided, you also could use your debit or checking account linked to Paypal.
2. I got an error message after entering my credit card number: 'Information is not correct or wrong card number'. What is wrong? What can I do? I really want to have your download package to enhance my understanding of the business plan as soon as possible as the deadline is soon.
The likely problem is that you have entered your credit card number wrongly by having space in between, or have not changed the expiration date and is using the default date shown on the screen, or have entered your First name and Last name wrongly. The first name and last name should correspond with your credit card name that is shown on your card. Many of the customers here have shared that they decided to open a Paypal account instead and after opening a Paypal account, they could complete the transaction and they were satisfied that they received my download packages within a day or less after completing the transaction.
3. How different is other downloads with the one already seen on the example shown in yahoo photos displayed for free? What additional information do I get that will help me on my participation in the UH Business Plan Competition?
The sample shown in yahoo photos were displayed slightly smaller and harder to read. Furthermore, obtaining other copies of other business plans would give a better comparison of judges' reports on different business plans from different industries. Also, by receiving the downloads, you are able to print a copy for your reference instead of viewing it from yahoo photos every time. Many participants of the business plan competition have thanked me that my work has assisted them to understand the criteria of the UH Business Plan better. In fact, these requirements can sometimes be applied to other business plans and participants of other business plans organized by other universities have benefited from the use of this judges' reports. Also, if I have time I usually would give advice to those who support and pay for my work.
