My name is Kasonde Makombe Katengo.  I am a Zambian born on 3 rd May, 1971 in Kasama in Zambia's Nothern province.

I am the first born and only female in a family of three.  My father died in 1981 and my mother, a retired teacher is running an Orphanage in Kawambwa in Luapula Province.

I attended Primary School in Luapula Province and Secondary School in Luanshya in the Copperbelt.  In 1995, I graduated with a bachelor's degree with a merit in Architecture at Copperbelt University in Zambia's Copperbelt Province.

I am married to Douglas Katengo and we have two children a boy Timothy aged nine and Kasaka a girl aged six.  We live in Lusaka, Zambia's capital.

I enjoy going on vacation with my family as well as sight-seeing.  I enjoy camping, athletics and watching tennis.  I also enjoy cooking and baking.

I am employed as a Project Architect where a deal with an assortment of projects.  I enjoy meeting clients, designing and contract administration. The greatest joy, however, is seeing my designs get built.
