Phi Mu History
and
Interesting Facts
Phi Mu was founded in 1852 at Wesleyan College in Macon, GA.  The founding sisters were Mary DuPont Lines, Mary Myrick Daniel, and Martha Hardaway Redding.  It is the second oldest sorority for college women in existance.
Phi Mu has been on York College's campus for quite some time now. Prior to being Phi Mu, we were Zeta Delta Phi, a local sorority.  On May 4, 1991 we were intiated as the Phi Eta chapter and have been that ever since.
