Districts and Provinces

Districts: The continental United States have been divided into eight divisions known as Districts. Each district has six or more states within it boundaries.

Provinces: Each District has been further divided into several areas known as Provinces. Most provinces contain two or three states The following table shows which Province and District each state would participate in:

Note: Chapters that are chartered in Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Caribbean will not be placed in a district, unless two or more chapters are chartered in that territory. Chapters in the four aforementioned areas will not be placed in a Province either, unless two or more chapters are chartered; in that case, a new province will be chartered for that area.

In both cases above, a solitary chapter may petition the Grand Council to allow them to join the closest District/Province to their campus.
