However, they always are ready for war should it come, as they have learned their lesson long ago. 20% carry two javelins, short sword and shield, 10% carry a long bow, 18 arrows, and a short sword, 40% carry a long sword, hand axe and a medium shield and the remaining 30% are armed with awl pikes and large shields. They are trained to fight in groups, and when in a group formation with an High Androthi or Androthi Lord to lead them they get +2 Morale, +2 to hit and +1 damage. Common Androthi wear hide armor, High Androthi usually wear chain mail if it is available, and Androthi Lords always wear plate mail and are armed with a long sword, hand axe, and large shield. About 30% of Androthi Lords are Shamans, able to cast spells as a 4th level cleric and a 3rd level mage. Habitat/Society Androthi society generally takes on the same form of whatever other cultures are nearby, meaning from a kingdom to a collective with no real leader. They farm and herd on the land outside their caves, which they sleep in and use as a defensible location. Ecology Androthi tend to have no real impact on the environment, tending to the local plantlife and breeding whatever abimal life is present and edible. They tend to get along with centaurs, though they seldom speak to them. They are very secretive, and prefer to simply be left alone and leave others alone. Origin Androthi come from the Blackthorne.
