Pyshical Description: Derica has shoulder length brown hair with a few grey streaks here and there; she keeps it in a ponytail but sometimes will wear it down or in a loose bun. She has sea-green eyes with long, dark eyelashes and "properly" shaped eyebrows. She's fairly small, standing at 4' 10" and weighing in at about 75 lb.s, but that doesn't mean you'd miss her in a crowd. She'll often wear bright blue robes with very odd muggle clothes underneath (like tourist outfits and the like, anything that amuses her) or some normal (teen) muggle clothes.
History: Derica was born in Germany, but she moved to New York with her parents when she was 5 years old, 5 years later her and her family moved to Montana and started attending Phoenix Academy. She was known as the trouble maker and the goof-off, but she did her school work and got good grades, so the teachers couldn't say she was a bad student. She was friendly to everyone and her muggle-born best friend Anna Campbell, introduced her to all things muggle, and she fell in love with it all. After School, when she was 20, she got married to Anna's brother, Ben (who was a muggle) and worked at Phoenix as the Potions Teacher, they were together for 20 years before he died of a heart attack. After the current Head Master died, she applied for the position and was accepted.
Personality: Derica is very upbeat, and hyper; she's a bundle of energy in a small package. She'll often be on a one-on-one basis with the students and enjoys parties, and often will plan events for the students to get together and have fun at. She is very charismatic and people are drawn to her; not without reason, though, she's funny, nice, and understadning. She's usually not serious and is usually soft on the punishments, except when serious-ness is needed. She is a powerful magic-user as well as a powerful speaker.
Family: Derica was born after WWII, so she didn't have to experiance that, but her parents did. --more to come later--
