Chance and Jake had left the younger kats to talk. Ryan shugged, plams upturned, "Ok. Were do we start?" Alisha pointed to him, "You're the electricity freak, get in there and see if it works." Ryan nodded and turned to the hummer. Blane said with a sigh in his voice, "What do you want me to do?" Alisha smiled, "You get to play under the lid." Blane was gone.
Alisha began to explore the hangar in search of paint. It wasn't that hard to find. It was in big barrels and labled, "paint." She rolled a sample of her findings back to the humvee.
While Blane was tinkering under the hood, Ryan stuck his head out the window and grinned triumphantly at Alisha, "Hey hot stuff, wanna go for a ride?" Before Alisha could say anything, Blane looked up and said to Ryan, "I would love to, but you know I'm not like that, Ryan." Ryan made a face, "Not you, muscel head, the lovely leader." Alisha leaned on the barrel of paint, "I'm not the leader, and..." she smiled, "Flattery gets you nowhere." Ryan shrugged, "Well, the hummer works. It's military, though." Alisha nodded, "M998 series." Blane and Ryan looked at her blankly. Alisha shrugged and grinned innocently.
Ryan gestured to the barrel, "Whats that?" Alisha looked to it and back up, "Paint." Ryan nodded, "Black?"
"Of course."
Blane looked up, "So, we're painting this thing. What else are we gonna do?" Alisha shrugged a shoulder a bit, "Well, we're gonna paint it up for our meeting with the Underground's mayor tonight, then we can soup it up." Blane eyed Alisha, "Why are we going to see the Mayor?" Alisha looked down, "To tell him what we're up to. To tell him, maybe with a little help, we can get back into the sun." Blane shrugged a little and went back to work.
