The Automotive Body & Refinishing Program at Phelps Career Senior High School is designed to provide the student with the technology to perform factory approved techniques to all parts of the basic theory and principles of auto body. Structural and non-structural repairs, plastic repairs, mig welding and cutting techniques.

Also refinishing techniques are offered by Dupont Automotive Finishes. Through step-by-step instruction, the student increases their knowledge and skills of automotive body techniques, and with the New Advance–Tech Curriculum, students will become familiar with automotive body procedures. Math and Science Technology skills required for Automotive Body and Refinishing are integrated into the curriculum.
