| Border Collie needs home on a Flyball Team It is with heavy hearts that my parents have decided to try to find a new home for their dog Cash. He is very affectionate border collie, but will ignore anything that distracts him while retrieving. Cash even ignores my own border collie who tries to herd him while retrieving a ball. Additionally, I think that he has the ideal temperament, speed, endurance, intelligence, and focus to be an exceptional flyball dog. Further, while his obedience training has not been reinforced, he is very controllable on and off leash. He especially likes water. If a lake is not available, he loves to cool off in a tub of water. Please go to the following website to see a few pictures of Cash. You can see that he is oozing with "ball drive" and is in exceptionally good physical condition. (Also, note Cash's one brown and one blue eye that give him an especially striking appearance.) http://www.geocities.com/phelps4534/Cash.html My parents' goal is to try to find a family wanting to adopt a border collie. Additionally, I would really like this family to want to teach flyball to Cash. My wife and I immediately considered adopting Cash, but with a child on the way and a house to be remodeled, we are not able to make these commitments. Some specifics on Cash Breed: Border Collie Gender: Male, but neutered Weight: 45 - 50 pounds Age: 7 Children: No problem Other pets: No problem This next section is difficult to write because Cash is such a wonderful dog, but my parents have had some difficulties with Cash, which has brought about their decision to find him a new home. He is a border collie (if you know what this means, then you have been around the breed and know about their quirks). Second, because he is left alone during the day in my parents' backyard, he has started digging out in search of people and entertainment. Finally, he is afraid of thunder. Please feel free to contact my father or I if you would like more information on Cash. Also, please forward this message to families that you think may be interested in adopting Cash.
