HISTORY OF CENTRAL PERK
The original building was built in 1984, where it started out as a bar. Early in 1993, the bar lost it's license and it's owner, Chris, was forced to sell it to pay his debts. It was sold to it's current owner, Terry, in mid 1993 where it was turned into the place it is today, a hip and happening coffeehouse. The bathrooms got new hand dryers installed in 1995, and the coffeehouse is often frequented by the 6 friends who live in the apartments upstairs, or the regular caffiene junkies, as the CP workers call them!
