July 29th, 2001: Ok, so it's been a while!! It's been a really busy few months for us. Sam is totally 100% potty trained now, including outings and nighttime. There is nary a diaper in the house. We still have a really big problem with her using public restrooms, she is absolutely petrified of them.
Samantha will also be wearing glasses in a week or two. In May (back when the following pictures were taken) her right eye started to turn inwards when she was tired, then it started with more frequency. She was diagnosed with strabismus, a muscle control problem, and will wear glasses for a year or two to hopefully correct the problem (otherwise, surgery is in our future). Pictures of Sam in glasses I promise will be up in a timely manner :)
Thanks for checking us out,
Emmy, Mike, and Samantha
Before you ask, no, we don't keep her in a cage. We were visiting my family in New Jersey in May, and they were moving and had this dog crate. Sam found the it to be quite cozy, and kept returning to it. And though she asked, we didn't let her sleep in it.
I'm waiting for the day she smashes this doll cradle to smithereens.
When I suggested to her that she get out, she made this face at me.
Sometimes, Mike's office computer crashes, and he has to call in a techie.
I know there are  a lot of these, but I like 'em.
I love this face!!!
