Festival
is being planned for Oct. 31st
here at the church. We plan for it to be a church wide event and hope to
have the participation of all members. The idea is to be an alternative to,
and in conjunction with, Trick-or-Treating on Tuesday night. We are hoping
most of all that it will be an outreach ministry to the whole community. And
also this is a chance for those who don't know us to come and meet us and
see what we are all about here at Pleasant Hill. A meeting is being
planned very soon to go over details and get the support together that we
will need. |

We need to get the message out to someone at the school. Could God use you
to start a spiritual wildfire in Blanchard, America? If you have any news on
the progress of this, please let Alan or Dennis know about it. |
| We are continuing to
grow in numbers! This is GREAT! and not so great. We are in need of more
help in almost every area of church ministry. Help us if you can, even if it
is just to pray for us who are directly involved in the ministries who need
help. Pray for revival in our church so that we can continue to reach out to
those whom God has set in our paths. Contact Tony, Dennis, David, Tonya or
anyone you want to help out. Jump right in the water is fine! |
| Pastor David is
going to Armenia in October with 9 other Pastors. I believe they are meeting
with 10 local Pastors when they get there. He's going to be at the foot of
Mt. Ararat. Which if you know any biblical history, is a very
"interesting" place. In
AD 301, Armenia became the first country in the world to adopt Christianity
as its official state religion, ten years before the Roman Empire granted
Christianity official toleration under Galerius, and 36 years before
Constantine was baptized. David's going to need a lot of help to get
there, please be in prayer for this mission trip, and give monetary support
if you are able. |
